Kawuleza Connect was established in 2008 under the name of WNC IT Services with Clint Armstrong at the helm. The company established itself as a competent provider in the wireless internet industry within the Western Cape area. In 2009, Basileus Capital obtained a majority shareholding in the company and the name was changed to Kawuleza Connect.
